OK — been using this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never figure out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here ew bet calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that really changed how I bet is the more serious tools. The odds-to-probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface is a bit basic — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

OK — been on this thing for something like four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you put in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at matched betting risk free bet calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really made a difference was the more serious bits. They’ve got an probability converter that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The design looks very functional, let’s say — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an ew return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where I always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at acc calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that really changed how I bet were the geekier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its design feels pretty plain — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been on this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out returns straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here ew trixie — free, no signup.

The thing that actually made a difference is the geekier tools. The probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout feels a bit basic — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
