So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, for context.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I never could work out what an each way payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the part I open most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at what is a trixie bet? and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely made a difference was the more serious bits. The probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The design looks pretty plain — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Right — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I never could figure out what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at betting overround calculator — free, no signup.

What genuinely shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. They’ve got an probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its design looks a bit basic — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, just the site — fine by me but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

OK — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. If you want a look, it’s here odds accumulator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What actually shifted things for me is the geekier extras. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout looks very functional, let’s say — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
